Accident Reconstruction Investigations
Accident Reconstruction Investigations determine exactly how the accident occurred and what actions lead to the accident, before determining who bears liability. Parties to an accident are normally worked up and emotional immediately following the accident, and may be unable to objectively determine if they bear any responsibility. An accident reconstruction investigation will determine not only the cause of the accident, but also who is at fault. Collecting all available evidence is an important factor in any accident reconstruction case. Evidence is collect to be used in a court, other legal proceedings, or by insurers. Upon completion of the investigation, I will prepare a detailed report summarizing all findings, witness statements, and photographic evidence. Additionally, I will be available to testify in court if necessary.
Personal Injury Investigations
Personal Injury Investigations seek to identify and collect evidence of physical injuries suffered by one or more persons stemming from a negligent or intentional act. Common types of personal injury cases include: Motor vehicle, Premises liability (slip-and-falls,) Medical Malpractice, and Workers Compensation. A personal injury investigation is most commonly sought in support of civil litigation, but may be conducted in conjunction with other related proceedings. In a personal injury civil case, the burden of proof is on the plaintiff. As an experienced Private Investigator, I can help prove the claim by gathering sufficient evidence that the injury occurred, that the defendant was a fault, and that the injury resulted in damages. Upon completion of the investigation, I will prepare a detailed report summarizing all findings, witness statements, and photographic evidence. Additionally, I will be available to testify in court if necessary.
Insurance Defense Investigations
Insurance Defense Investigations seek to gather evidence of fraud or misrepresentation by the accident victim in regard to the existence and extent the claimed injuries, or to gather evidence. After reviewing all existing evidence, l will gather evidence, take photographs and/or surveillance and interview witnesses to the incident. Upon completion of the investigation, I will prepare a detailed report summarizing all findings, witness statements, and photographic evidence. Additionally, I will be available to testify in court if necessary.
Insurance Fraud/Workers Compensation Cases
Fraudulent Workers Compensation cases and insurance related issues can be time consuming both for the insurer and the insured. Taking the time to understand the subject, to learn the habits and personality of the subject, will increase the chances of being able to prove or disprove the validity of a claim.
Wrongful Death Investigations
Wrongful Death Investigations seek to gather enough evidence about the death and the circumstances surrounding it to prove that the death was the responsibility of another party in court. As a Private Investigator, I will identify all evidence relevant to the case. The methods and techniques used will vary depending on the circumstances of your case, but often include reviewing all existing evidence; police and accident reports, medical and coroner reports, witness statements, court filings, photographs, videos, physical evidence. Visits to the scene to collect evidence and take photographs and locating and interviewing witnesses. Upon completion of the investigation, I will prepare a detailed report summarizing all findings, witness statements, and photographic evidence and will testify in court if necessary.
Identity Theft Investigations
Identify Theft Investigations seek to identify the perpetrator of the theft, find and report all instances where the client’s identity has been misused, and to report each incident to the relevant authority. As an experienced Private Investigator, I would also take steps to restore the integrity of the client’s identity and stop future uses of their information by determining how the perpetrator obtained my clients identity. While investigative techniques vary by case, I commonly use software tools and proprietary databases to locate all incidents of identity theft and to identify the perpetrator(s). Notifying and collaborating with all appropriate law enforcement and public agencies, creditors, banks and other financial institutions will stop further incidents of theft and fraud and resolve debt and damages issues. Additionally, I often recommend physical surveillance to catch the thieves in the act. Upon the conclusion of the investigation, a full report will be provided along with any court-admissible evidence and I will provide testimony in court if needed.
